What's the difference between Hybrid and On-Grid — which should I choose?
On-Grid has no battery — it generates power for daytime use and sells excess to the grid · won't work during blackouts · lower starting price (5kW ≈ 15,000฿). Hybrid includes a battery port — store generated power for nighttime use and stay running during outages · higher price (6kW ≈ 26,000฿), but worthwhile in an era of rising electricity costs. We recommend Hybrid if you have an extra +20,000-30,000฿ budget and need backup power.
What does 1.6× DC oversizing mean?
A Solis 10kW inverter accepts DC input up to 16kW (1.6×) — meaning you can install up to 16kW of total panel capacity. Why does this matter? Solar panels rarely produce at full spec — in the morning, evening, or under clouds, output is only 30-60%. Oversizing the array captures more power during low-light periods without damaging the inverter (clipping is handled automatically). Annual yield increases by 15-25%.
What's the difference between S6-EH3P-NV-YD-L (LV) and S6-EH3P-H (HV)?
LV (Low Voltage) uses a 48V LFP battery (e.g. QES Battery 16kWh) · easier to install · more affordable · ideal for small-to-medium systems 10-15kW.
